What if fossil fuel subsidies are stopped?

I think that would include some rules that benefit gas pipelines too. Would that tank this stock?

    • you are an idiot to listen to Obama, exactly what are these subsidies he is talking of, I know do you? They are NOT subsidies like he wants to give to solar, they are normal expenses of business that are accelerated and allowed to be written off in the first year rather than subsidized and the oil/gas depletion allowance. The US does not give money to the oil industry which is what they do with solar, wind, ethanol. You really need to know more before you quote the idiot we have in the White House.

    • What if the world ends Dec 21st?

    • No, it wouldn't. Why? Because this company doesn't do anything but provide the infrastructure to push the natural gas and NGLs through. They own the pipelines, not the gas in it. Besides, do you really think that Natural Gas usage is going to go away in the next 20 to 30 years? No way Jose, if anything its going to increase, and increase big time! Cars, electricity, etc., its the only affordable way to make America oil independent AND it will most certainly be a bridge fuel for even cleaner energy technologies such as wind and solar. Unfortunately those technologies will not be affordable for another 20 to 30 years while the technology continues to improve. Besides, call me crazy but I don't think I'm gonna be able to stick solar pads or a wind turbine on the top of my car!

Natural Gas is clean energy compared to oil and coal and good for the future of the American economy.

    • it would make me stop cooking and heating my house
