which is soon.......a 7% yielder will be a big bounce while it lasts. Just started a small position in my wife's 401k. I already have a larger long position for my account also. This one may take some time to get to 40 but it will happen.
Well, I'm not so sure we are close to the market bottom.
Greece is looking problematic to say the least. Its likely that in June this new guy running around the country saying Greeks may just simply default and not pay their debts... is likely to get MORE votes than this past time.
Then Spain and Portugal voters are going to say.... if they can do it why not us!!
Throw in the growing talk that there will be an attempt prior to the election to make a "grand bargain" on spending and debt by the Congress and President.........
And you have the making of some very bad news weeks which spark panic selling.
There are some very attractive buys currently, but I'm waiting..... I think we may get to see the white of their eyes come June.
I am not long or short on Atlas but my advice to anyone with investment money is to either not buy in the first place, or to sell this dog. I am in the business and I have seen the odd business approach of this company. They believe in volume not profit. Their plants might be full but they are full of low (no) margin gas. This company will build 10 miles to a single well (dry hole) and install thousands of horsepower that will be idle for months.
