    Here's some due dilligence

I went to RFMD's home page/investor relations/analyst coverage and got the name for Thomas Weisel's analyst: Jeremy Bunting Ph.D.

Then I went to Thomas Weisel's page and tried to look him up. Couldn't find any trace of him.
Then I looked at the top stocks traded by Thomas Weisel and RFMD wasn't among them....

It would be nice to hear from Thomas Weisel and see what they thought of the presentation.

It would be nice to get some reassurances from RFMD management.

    • I listened to the conference call on RF Micro's website. Only negatives were a little stronger competition like the Alpha/Conextant merger, Skywaves and questions about sales to Nokia. However, the presentation itself was unprofessional - they just sort of rambled.

      • Ziggy, the reason the last cc sounded rambling was the nature of conference. Normally the presenting company gets to make a presentation and then take questions. This was the first one I heard where the introducer said they would only ask questions rather than have a presentation. It sounded like the RF guys tried to get in as much info as they could, whether it applied directly to the question or not. Listen to a replay of the one before this one, it's much better and includes the slides.
