SWKS @ 15+/- RFMD at a HUGE discount!

well said. you see this is where I think the value is, a 23% revenue growth, early retirement of debt, and over 10% insider ownership. In a hot sector of a hot business, smart-tech---while the laptop-cellphone-television try to give birth to one magic silver bullet device.
PAGERS are gone, the GPS will soon be gone, the camera is dying, and the video camera may also be in trouble....all due to a gadget called a cell phone and now the sector is ramping up with smart-phones!
I can see a smartphone replacing a desktop. Have a easy to type/larger screen type shell of a desktop or tv at home that the new smartphone can be pugged into and bingo---you have it all!
Smartphones have a LONG ways to go but remember a decade plus ago everyone was thinking it would be a table top device that replaced/merged the television/desktop/VHS ! LOL! Wow...times have changed!
Anyways, the magic bullet device will have to be comfortably portable ( really key ) and not so small its a pain in the rear to see/operate. I think we may see a device that has very thin ( durable ) wafer type screens that can be folded out for easier viewing etc. Inotherwords, perhaps four screens verses the one we see today and of course, the screens are the users choice...IE one screen too small? Fine, fold out another! Need more! Fold out two more! a far out example of what might lie ahead.
My point is this, this segment/sector is really just getting started in a new direction of consolidating several technologies and there will be victims along the way (ask PALM or AOL what being a victim feels like) but for now, RFMD appears to be one of the IMPACT players at a relatively cheap price and management has skin in the game as do several big $$ houses like Wellington-Vanguard-Soros-Blackrock and the point is not to name drop but to say this, I know they have better info than I do and if they are placing a bet on this horse, I would be a fool not to do the same as long as I am at the track to take some risks!
I do think this is a turn around, I have seen some smart finance decisions on the part of management and and Serenza might have been a limited target purchase, maybe they needed that better mousetrap gizmo for their own device! LOL! I don't know!
Anyways, Happy Hunting out there svs8100!
