Upon reading more about RFMD's announcement of being selected to provide for a leading smartphone manufacturer it does indeed appear that it was a direct reference to the new Galaxy S4, for which I can GLADLY admit that I was completely wrong about. Not that I dind't think it was a possibility, but knowing how management in the past had tried to spin things, plus with the recent release of the BBRY10, and the fact the Samsung was not specifically mentioned I figured the timing of the release was to make it "appear" that RFMD was referring to the S 4. In any event, it appears like I was wrong, for which i'll GLADLY admit. Now, let's see what this "selection" does for the pps and the common shareholder. My opinion on that still hasn't changed though. I still think the management will take the success of that and use it for their own personal gain in the amount of more free options.
While RFMD's press release was most likely referring to the S4, I too found it odd that they did not mention samsung by name, especially since they have in the past. Maybe samsung no longer wants their name mentioned in supplier's press releases?
