ARR has $150M of revenue on $20.03B of debt.

I dont think you realize people buy this due to the dividend income. The stock could stay at 6 to 7 bucks a share for the next 100 years and no one would care as long as the dividend remained the same or went up. This is not a "growth" stock.

America is the only country in the world that has laws permitting this degree of Leverage, which goes against all the old views of investing prudence.
It is safer than Ponzi was, as these huge loans are ultimately backed by the government , or, in truth, the homeowning taxpayers. But God help us if they ever got called in! -
Revenue for the 9 months ended Sept 2012 was $266M, debt is fully offset by securities holdings with a positive interest spread.

It'd be nice if CIM paid monthly dividends instead of quarterly.
