I know why... manipulation... anytime people hear the word investigation they run for the hills. The govt. decided they need to get the marke to go up... to make a case for Economic improvement. They decided to force people off the sidelines and out of save havens and fixed instruments. To do this they forced interest rates down... so bonds pay nothing, savings pay nothing or close to nothing and people will have to enter the market for returns. ARR is paying just a little to much dividend and is just a little too good of a deal with the high dividend, so the govt has to get that lowered. The easiest way is to force the value of the stock down until people exit the stock. See right now we have lost 10 times the dividend we will receive at the end of the month. So, by investigating ARR it will scare people out of the stock.
I am wondering why it was not made public in an SEC document that the head of ARR:
1. previously ran a REIT that went bankrupt.
2. currently manages the two worst reits (ARR and Javelin) are run by the same manager.
Are there any other skeletons that an investor should know before investing?
