the better question is: why has ARR rebounded only 7% from its low and AGNC has rebounded a whopping 16% from its low. From the time of the low to now, both have paid out similarly-yielding dividends. ARR continues to get slapped in the face, eventhough bonds have since stabilized.
I'm predicting BV to still be above $5 by quarter's end, which puts this stock really underpriced.
It's pretty simple, 1/3 of dividend is all that remains on a quarterly payout vs. full dividend for those that pay every 3 months. Run up on monthly is before declaration just like all the quarterlies are seeing now.
Any more stupid questions?
I just bought more and keep rolling over he divy as I will need the income in a couple of years I retired a year ago and Iam still growing my investments for a couple more years
Alls I know is that I'm an ARR bagholder holding a bag as big and as blazing as the Hindenburg. My average share price is 6.65 from back in the day. Just call me toast.
Most corrupt and incompetent management ever, and they sucked me right in big-time.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
