I sold all of my shares that I had in a Roth IRA at the open (2,000 shares/Cost Basis $5.76). That money is lost forever.
I sold half of the shares that I had in my Etrade account (2,500/Cost basis 5.56). I will at least be able to take the capital loss and recoup my marginal tax rate (25%).
The test, I will probably sell next year for the capital loss. I have the DRIP in this account, so I will keep that going until I wave good bye to this stock forever. I will not average down, because I have no faith in this
company. They are incompetent and cost me thousands of dollars. They can take their 5 cent dividend and dhove it you know where.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Interest rates are still at historic lows, yet ARR has lost 50% in less then a year. Fundamentals mean absolutely nothing for most stocks, REIT's and other investments...Look at the precious metals market, now that's real corruption...right?
Out at $4.22. Took my lumps. I don't see a catalyst for a much higher move right now. Too many negatives on the horizon including political shenanigans. Fed tapering by the end of this year and concerned about the Q3 report and book value erosion. In addition, Management seems to have gone deaf and dumb with little communication. Can't have that in a investment.
Sure did. Too many other mreits to invest in where management actually has a conference call and explains the strategy. ARR can take those useless 8k reports and stick them. No faith in their ability to stop the BV and dividend bleeding. If this thing gets pushed to a 20% dividend yield again the stock will be trading at $3. Who wants to wait for that.
