    CITICORP = book value = $18/shr

    Someone correct me if I am wrong, but is an $18 stock selling for $7 right now ?

    I have $100,000 sitting in my ETRADE account - should I throw some MAD MONEY at this stock and buy ?

    I really like this BANK and their service.

    • Sure go ahead- I could use some upward volume. I find it difficult to actually assign a book value to an institution who's business is in the debt game. It is tough to keep a book standing if the pages are eaten away by worms;if no one pays off their debts to citi you have a bunch of empty buildings in Manhattan and LIC. Are these worth 18/share?

      I'll never forget as a copier salesman going into the LIC office and seeing the nice- albeit fake mahogany trim of offices in the corner of each floor. They had all these degrees on the wall from Wharton etc. I was so envious, I was really convinced that there was something there. Thank god they don't have balconies.

    • If this is not the time to load up, when will it be? This is lower than the bottom!!!!

      If you want to increase your money by 6 times in 3 years, this is it!!!!

    • I just pulled the trigger! Let's see what happens. Good luck to all who are taking this once in a lifetime chance!!
