Do ya'll really not know the difference?
I mean c'mon.. this a f'n financial message board.. please tell me the people I have been discussing financial matters with over the last few months at least KNOW WHAT AN INDICATOR AND A STATISTIC ARE.
Those were all your ID's...
Zarathustra2u: I've seen his kind. There was a dude on the HAL board awhile back who tried to argue that there was no correlation between refinery capacity and gasoline supply. Probably the same ass hole.
doom_fulfilled: He's exactly like this dude jesanoldman on the HAL board. In fact I think it IS him! There CAN'T be TWO guys this stupid!
zarathustra: i get it. you're a troll.
You have conversations with yourself, join in your own conversations, agree with yourself.. point yourself out... congratulate yourself.. its funny..
I will chuckle, I'm chuckling now.
I'll get a little chuckle.
You might as well chuckle. You sure as hell aren't about to learn anything. You've had four different people trying to patiently explain to your stupid ass that economic indicator is just another term for economic statistic. AND YOU STILL DON'T F-CKING GET IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They even linked your stupid ass to the U.S. Commerce Dept website on economic indicators.
AND YOU STILL DON'T F-CKING GET IT !!!!!!!!!!!
So yeah, by all means Goober Pyle, chuckle away you f-cking moron.
Well, if you look back through the convo I had with that moron.. they started fairly interesting. But when the guy couldn't respond to some of the points I was making, he'd start arguing semantics and start using quotes from links out of context.. etc etc..
Next time I get in a decent convo with someone, and they start doing stuff like that, I'm just going to drop out of the convo.
Guess I got caught up in the moment with it all.. it was kind of fun though.. the entertainment value of his stupidity will have me laughing for days.. probably any time I see the word indicators or statistics.. I'll get a little chuckle.
It started as a debate of employment being a lagging indicator. I don't think it is a lagging indicator in this current 'recovery' because I don't think we're in a recovery.. here's a couple links if you care to read more on that
Anyway.. the guy started arguing semantics and taking quotes from my links out of context.. I should have dropped the convo.. but I didn't.. it was a little entertaining though.. that turned in to the argument about what an indicator is.
I am thinking of a whole number between 1-100, inclusive of 1 and 100. If I had you to guess the number then statistically you have a 1% chance of guessing the number correctly. If I gave you the indicator of the number as a reference to a popular sex act, what number would you guess?
