The deal closed on March 31st so it all will be reflected in 1st qtr numbers...which is good for us this month!The $120mill paper gain today would sho in 2nd qtr. but have to wait for the closing price on June 30th.
So this was a bought deal?
I'm not sure what you mean by a "bought deal".It was your standard IPO that had good demand so the final pricing of $15 was above what they expected. That is good news for Citi as it's more money on their 1st qtr balance sheet. I'm not an expert in accounting but I don't think this shows in their EBITDA number which is what many earnings estimates are based on.
