It seems that more and more people are stopping to look for work and therefore are not being counted. Does this mean the unemployment rate is going to drop in the coming months? Are they going to spin this? Is the unemployment picture getting better or not?
Again, the real unemployment- underemployment rate is near 20%. Dept of Labor does not count the people that exhausted their benefit, stopped looking for work or are underemployed. BO will be able to brag full employment with no one working if everyone exhausts their benefits and stops looking for work. DC plays mind games with numbers. Ex UC manager. What irks me is DC says the jobs the illegal aliens take are jobs citizens wont take. This is BS.
They don't stop looking for jobs they are just forced out the system. Those that give up go on welfare so those numbers increase and you can see the difference between unemployment claims and public assistance claims. The unemployed workers will still compete with those not counted in the workforce regardless.
