I worked in prisons for over 20 years - my advice to the new guys: If you drop the soap - let it stay there. GLTY and thanks for the tip.

Make sure you can get into the Federal jail.
The Federal prison provides the best medical care and daily benefit of the whole country.
If you can manage to stay there long enough, you might be able to get covered by some kind of retire program when you are released. -
