Not much news in here, but two good points. First, Riggs reaffirmed that they are going as fast as possible trying to get that integrated frack oil/water cleaning system put together. Related to that is the news that they have been reproducing their results consistently, all of which bodes well in terms of commercializing the technology.
Another point that he didn't get in to, but struck me as hugely important (I was a science geek major at uni) is that the OOIL process actually sanitizes the algae. By that, I assume he meant that the process either kills of or removes bacteria or competing micro-organisms from solution. This can have a HUGE impact in terms of shelf life, something that Riggs touched on. Compared with a system that doesn't sanitize, sanitizing will make it easier to maintain algae cultures over longer periods. Anyway, it struck me as yet another nice bit of news about the technology.
