Moving of El Dorado, Ark. facility.

Alltrista made a move at the beginning of the
year to move the El Dorado, Arkansas facility to
Auburndale, FL. This was not a highly advertised move and I
believe that Alltrista Corp. is not very happy with
themselves for combining the El Dorado, AR facility with the
Alltrista owned Triangle facility in Auburndale. It was a
move that Alltriata did not put a lot of thought into.
It seems that the mobile home industry big boys,

(i.e., Fleetwood, etc.) which the El Dorado facility
supplied, is not very happy with the quality of work that
    is being performed at the
    Auburndale facility. As
    an Alltrista stock-
    holder I sincerely hope that
    they (Triangle)get
their act together so this stock
can get back up--as soon as it does I will sell and
get away from this loser----and it will lose as long
as those knuckleheads are making these kinds of
    crazy decisions.

    • I feel you man. I could not agree more. However,
Triangle has had success in the past on their end. The tub
business is indeed coming to an end---I am happy to say.
Now the Auburndale plant can get on with better
things. Hopefully the Alltrista idiots will keep their
      hands out of the way.

      P.S. The Kevco situation
      is another
      story all together!!!

      And don't
bet the "pot" on the toilets making money. You know
as well as I do----Alltrista is not going to make a
      good "buy" decision.
      The Viking plant had potential
but the Alltrista management was not using their
heads or listening to reason. Come on bear
Marty, keep your eyes open for new developments and keep
me informed on what you hear---and I will do the
      same. Later!!

    • the move to Fl was a desparate attempt to save a losing business that was spiraling down while in AR. Nothing wrong with trying to save it, they had to do something I suppose.

      • Actually not spiralling down in AR.
business from the closed plant in Indiana made a
profitable org.---Alltrista acquired Triangle----and had to
Flipped a coin and AR lost, unfortunately so did the
company along with my investment. From what I can gather
AR plant (Viking Industries) was booming until
Alltrista bought them. Now, they are going to take down a
great company in Triangle. Auburndale, Fl plant was
doing excellent until the move--now it is sinking like
the Titanic. If it were not for the great management
at the FL facility they would already be gone.
Hopefully something good will happen and we can recover
        some of our investment. (Please)

      • I was out of the country---they must have had a
good day. I believe it was plastics industry
I truly hope it will go up and stay
        there----unlikely. I know this company--'aint
        gonna happen!!!! As
you can see it's back to the gutter. Get with the
        program Alltrista---
get yourself some of that skilled
labor from your Arkansas facility before it is too
