the difference between aapl, goog and fb

absurd enough, facebook is often compared with the two most outstanding companies on the planet: apple and google, both reasonably priced tech-companies with compelling products. aapl and goog are standing way above competitors. fb seems to have something alike by being the social network with most members. but how fragil this is? how easy is it to change the network? how likely is it, some other sn will become hipper within month?
apart from this, aapl and goog have millions of people asking for their products. nobody asks or wants fb ads. the only thing that can be sold is information nobody wants to be sold. once people find out, they will drop this plattform like many of my friends already did.
anyway, i have never seen such an overpriced stock. this can go to pennies (!!!) by the end of 2013.

    • i think in your post, an intersting point can be deduced

no one wants to pay for facebook, very few people want to click on ads, but so many people like using it and want to use it

it seems clear to me facebook has value to its uesrs, they enjoy it and want to use it, but they dont want to pay for it

so it seems clear facebook has clear value to its users, as i said...they probably will end up paying in some ambiguous way.

what if facebook started a service like netflix- watch movies on facebook- i bet this would be quite popular. They'd charge a subscription fee, less than netflix's fee. then as a perk, maybe they'd get special facebook features

people would love the extra features, and wouldnt grumble about paying for it

you dont get something for nothing.

    • Kinda like comparing diamonds and cow patties.

    • your right, 5 bucks like the china fb.
