FB will become the new "ebay"
guess what revenues that will bring in. all the young people have FB, are in connection with each other. Like a market day in open air where a big crowd is, just selling stuff there to people. A new ecommerce giant is in the making, and then we will see who is wondering how they can generate so much revenues in the future and why they are becoming bigger and bigger

I disagree most people would rather sell to strangers than their friends.. I dont know too many people that sell to friends esp big ticket items.

They could put Pandora out of business tomorrow by starting its own on their website. Click a tab, select a genre and every 4 songs play an ad.

They could literally start at classified section tomorrow and charge users different amounts based on area and demographics you want your product viewed. (city, state, country, education, etc) and it would kill Craigslist and hurt eBay They could easily charge $100k a day for a nationwide political ad to be "stickied" at the top of search results

indeed, most bashers here have maximum 1k to spend because they have no more money and are jealous we are becoming richer and richer. Oh wel, give me another cigar to smoke! But i love reading their crap while they are watching how i am making money here

Tell us, WHAT ARE FB's ASSETS?? If the company was sold today and its "assets" and the market value of its assets, and please DON'T tell me or anyone that FB's "assets" are its 900 Million users. That's like saying that the Telephone Directory's assets are everyone listed in their directory! LOL! -
Ebay actually has different products that generate revenue.

Suckerberg said he may be planning to open up an online store where he will be selling the public cheap craps made in China. Also, marrying an Asian girl is one of his business strategy in an attempt to getting his foot in the Chinese market. If anyone is going to make the Chinese people become unproductive and wasting their time on the computer, he wants to be the one doing it with FB.

indeed, just with the facebook page ,you won't get there. But they have one of the most powerfull tools in their hand to create the best working ecommerce site in the world. does ebay has a concurrent now? there is your answer. just do some homework and then you find out they are working on a platform for ecommerce also
