    AMZN PE = 3302 and FB PE = 245

    • This is the result of endless moneyprinting. Money has to go somewhere, and it certainly isn't for creating jobs in the West. It all nicely ends up in these instruments. P/E or EPS don't matter anymore. If it did, none of these companies, nomatter how large, would ever trade with these insane expectations. The fact that Apple, which is the most valuable company in the world and sits with enough cash on hand to buy out pretty much any company on the planet, is trading with P/E of around 13, while a non-productive company as FB, which is used for chat and picturesharing is trading with a P/E well above 100 and is worth more then some major oil-companies that drive the economy...

      The conclusion is simple, the way the financial markets are being run lately has nothing to do whatsoever with future income and possibilities of companies ever making those targets. It is an illusion which reflects mans greed and his will to gamble. There are only handful of companies that trade with these insane multiples, and the reason is because they are most traded. Hype, hype and more hype.
