Well i can say that i am a regular Facebook user and recently came across almost paying a dollar for sending a message. By saying that if he can get a dollar out of someone like me i can only imagine the money they are getting out of the gaming part of facebooking. 30 dollars is a great price for something like Facebook

As of now I DON' believe FB is a good buy. Look at Spotify(for all of you who know what it is). Spotify is a great service to listen and store your favourite music on your phone for a mere $14,99/month. Still, 90% of Spotify's revenue comes from 15% of their users. Rest of them are just riding for free.
Same goes to say about FB. FB is big, and there is lot of potential here. As of now the focus is merely way too much on the social part and how to get friends and people to integrate even closer. And all this so FB can sell personal information to third parties. Another thing that I can't help but notice is all you longs who claim you've spent thousands of dollars on gifts/sponsored ads and now paying for message service. I have talked to over 100 people on my friends list just to see if any one od them have ever bought or spent money through FB. 2 person out of those 100+ have bought few items through ads. Rest have never bought anything for as long as they have used FB. And most of them have been users since 2007.
Seems also that people who are long here are the ones spending money aswell. Well I am sure that the more FB continues to implement paying options and services more and more people will slowly stop or reduce usage of FB. You do realize that people can connect their MSN Messenger to Facebook and chat with their frinds on FB never having to log in to their FB account. This I belive can be done with many other chat programs.
Anyway, just my few cents. I wish everyone who invests in FB, both long and short good luck!
I just pay 2 bucks to send messages today.
why??? phone broken???
