More companies are integrating with Facebook because of the data it can provide about its 1.1 billion active users, as well as new avenues for advertising revenue and sales opportunities. Netflix, based in Los Gatos, Calif., said its customers would have to choose to also share what shows and movies they’ve watched directly on Facebook.
