Looks like my $26.50 support call was right on ....

Very slow consolidation now w/ a bearish tech trend? AAPL AMZN YELP ZNGA all down. But this trend cannot last as FB has cratered fully after negative guidance from earnings report.

FB should move the holidays and tax day, up thru to earnings. No evidence of a miss is suggested, though prior guidance was lousy. Ironic that Zuck has so much groupthink going internally and the employees think Zuck is the greatest CEO in the world. Obviously none of them cares about the stock price either, or retail investors, or having 10 Billion in cash just sitting on Hacker Way. And Sandberg isn't saying word one to encourage any investment in FB stock, to men, or women.

Still at $26 the stock is such a cheap speculative play it's silly not to buy more. FB is an overhyped growth stock that is only trading at 5x BV. For comparison, LNKD and P trade at 22x BV, and YELP is at 10x. None of these stocks is mature, and despite all these wildly bearish predictions, FB cannot be valued via Graham numbers, EPS or simple free cash flow yet folks.

Even the most bearish anti FB trader has to admit that FB stock would probably be trading over $30 but for the fact that FB HQ is totally apathetic about the stock price, and won't lift a finger to support it in the near term. Right now would be a good time for the CFO or investor relations to say something to investors. But no one is holding their breath.

And yet those who say the stock will drop to $15 or $20 are equally unrealistic. FB hasn't spent much time at all under $26 for weeks and weeks. Institutional buying has been brisk, the price target is $33, it's met all revenue estimates, and it's still the most trafficked site in history. At least FB keeps updating and tinkering, and keeps above $26.50. The stock was priced $27-38 at IPO, and clearly the market still believes that the stock is still work $27 even under the worst of conditions guidance and performance.
