    Zucker history lesson

Let me review. First off, I'm long 6k shares.
In Harvard, Zuck took an idea from others and started what is now Facebook. Now as CEO, he has taken an idea from Twitter and Vine. What new ideas does he have? I think he may be a one shot chump. He's no visionary like Jobs. Zuck needs to move over and let better minds lead.

    Just a thought.

    • He's founded a new media outlet, he is not a visionary. He is caught up in his own hype and there is no adult or responsible to board to reign him in. Sad sad. I'm getting out when I can. This is why you can't have one person control all the voting rights. Lesson learned.

And if you think he would ever step aside... well then you probably believe that Sandberg is going to start buying shares in bunches soon.

On the other hand, he did say to buy at $18, and now Sandberg is basically saying the stock is a buy now. Since they are already laughing stocks per short term investors, I don't see any reason why the would make any claims now. If you want to speculate, now is a good time to buy in. When Zuck starts to talk about selling his shares, obviously that will be DDay.

For now it's a good speculative contrarian summer buy at $24. You never know - FB might just succeed oneday in spite of its leadership.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

There has been some very good improvement around their advertising structure that goes widely unnoticed by retail investors. FBX, Custom Audiences, Lookalikes, and Partner Categories leveraging offsite buying habits have all added tremendous value to their ad offering. That impacts bottom line in a big way but since there's nothing "Sexy" about it, it doesn't make headlines. It's a true revenue driver though, which is what counts.

    • I think you make an excellent point....The fact that this socalled "new vision" was so telegraphed, it had to have a negative impact on the stock...Market fundamentals are breaking down too....It appears the doped-up stock market is trying to get rid of its dependency, which will be painful to all those who ignored the market fundamentals for the last four years.

      • I don't know who the PR firm working with FB, but #$%$? How do you let the news out ahead of time? Why even hide such an announcement? This announcement should have just been a press release. If you hold a meeting, make sure it's groundbreaking information and not a copy or expansion of existing technology. I believe in the company, but I question the decisions being made. I think we'll go up as news is already cooked into the price, but we'll see. I'm just holding into earnings.
