Go to posters name and click and a topic next to my posts will list all the posts under that posters name.
Next to the date of a specific post in that list, is a hidden icon that says flag. Click on it, you get ignore or report abuse. Click report abuse and a paragraph indicating you've been successful reporting that post will come up.
If you go into the blurb paragraph, it invites you to explain your position further by clicking "here". Do so, you get a chance to list your reasons. Go to "other" and click it, and you get small box to write something like "constant anti semitism" or whatever. Yahoo WILL investigate.
Most of these spammers are promoting a "PAID" stock newsletter and they have multiple names. I don't think YHOO banns their IP so they just keep using different names. I feel sorry for someone that has to resort to such a crummy job in order to live.
They're probably interns for some of these crooked hedgies... Or, maybe it's secretly Yahoo, trying to keep us active on the board. You know, they get paid when we use this board... Hmm? There's some ulterior motive behind the constant hate postings...
Why report them. To me it is an attack on freedom of speech.
When a poster writes obscene or objectionable material, it isn't too long before they are ignored.
Let people make up their own minds whether a post is obscene or objectionable.
ie: Norway and Sweden have the most lax laws on pornography, in Written Material and in Movies.
They sell much less of these per capita than they do in America.
People are so sick of it, that they seek out more traditional materials and movies
I get so tired of hearing the argument that because of free speech, hate speech is free. Why not change up the rules a little. How about a new law: If you are going to preach hatred, than we are not going to protect you. I think the "Freedom of Speech" argument needs some accountability.
While that may be true, what would happen to you if you went to work tomorrow and screamed racial slurs? Chances are you would be fired on the spot. I think we know who mardermj is referring to. The hate speech from this sick puppy is protected by the first amendment, but Yahoo Finance also has the right to take action against him, such as by blocking him from its message boards. Using hate speech may be protected, but it is not immune from retribution.
