This is what is wrong with the Stock Market... why be long term?
If you bought this stock late January you got in around 62. After sitting put for 2 months you're at a loss. The pump/dump and volatility with these stocks is a joke. Seriously? What kind of stock drops 18% in 2 weeks and expects to be taken seriously.
The kind of stock that has risen at some point in the last year several time in a 2 week period by about 18%. Maybe not quite 18% but you understand what I mean. There are very polarizing opinions about this company and its stock price. I blindly got in at $22 a while back. At $70 I was thinking I was just plain smarter than everyone else. I don't feel very smart anymore. Going to hold. Probably not smart.
I agree, technically (in tax land) long term is 1+ year, but my point is that it is almost pointless to be long term. Look at Twitter! If you bought around IPO and held until today, you're even! You should have sold your twitter shares. Sorry... just venting.
