Mark gave up is 2 billion dollar salary for the last purchase that he made for 2 billion. Small price to pay for a purchase that will return 50 billion. Google and Facebook appear to be on the same page. These folks are changing the way we do this around the world.
You mean with the $1 salary he does not contribute to programs that all working stiffs depend on, i.e. social security, medicare....I understand he supports status change for the "illegal" immigrants and with thousands lining up for free Affordable Care it would be nice if he chipped in for his cause. Me, me is nice but billionaires should be taxed at the 90% level as it will still leave them with millions.
If you do that, you won't have billionaires innovating or their money in this country. We will become a 3rd rate country like France. I'm all for closing loopholes for big companies and the ricj, but conficitory tax structures ruin innovation and economies. It's a stupid idea.
I blame that on the greedy politicians. They make the laws. When you get a deal, buy one get one free do say no, I will pay for both of them? Of course not. Business people just take advantage of the loop holes. You can claim deductions on your mortgage. You take them. Again, it is the politicians that dictate these loop holes. When they benefit us it is all right. Do I agree with all the loop holes? No! Yet I can not blame those that take advantage of them.
