    EA CEO

    Dirk,
you're obviously NOT paying attention to EA...They own exclusivity on almost every major league...and while VERY true - they don't hit home runs every time, they continually put out extraordinarily high quality games (Medal of Honor series, Fight Night, Godfather), and their upcoming roster is sick: The Simpsons, Rock Band, Skate, Spore, Army of Two...to name a few. They have a very diverse business (casual, mobile, MMO, etc), a new CEO, they just fully re-org'd, and it wouldn't surprise me if they were looking for a variety of ways to plug in the holes (M&A) with all that cash they have stored away.

I don't know...just seems silly to me as an investor to count out the biggest player in the game, due to a couple turds like Superman.

Gazerker, you are obviously not paying attention either EA does not have exclusivity on 'almost every league'. They have exclusivity on the NFL and NCAA football. No exclusive on NBA. No exclusive on NHL. And no license at all to MLB baseball. And Godfather is not an 'extraordinarily high quality game'. I've just been playing it on the 360 and it doesn't match any GTA title.

EA does make some good games and they have some licenses. But they've also got problems. Spore is delayed until 2008 sometime. Medal of Honor has been eclipsed by Call of Duty. NBA Live 07 was a disaster.

    • I do know about thier stake in UBI, and also about Jamdat, etc.
But look at thier market cap relative to thier actual sales.
They are priced for perfection, and they are anything but.
