Anyone else make the stupid mistake of me?

I just keep waiting for it to drop back down.... I made the mistake of selling at $19.96. I enjoyed the ride from $16.50 and then got off the train....

    • I sold everything at $20, guess could have held more, but had it since $11 so plenty of profit already. Been following this stock for years and there and it rarely moves as you would expect. just last week it dropped to $17 on great earnings so who knows what it will do next.

    • If the options to the end of the week were juicy enough I might have written something to lock in a sale at 20, but alas the share price kept staying ahead of the 20 strikes... and I have no idea what was going on with the 19s calls...

You know though... after being burned by holding on too long, I have had to resort to a new mantra... "It is ok to leave money on the table, because it means you got to take some of it off!" I mean we are all playing roulette with varying percentages, and we know the red streak will end eventually, but you could always end up pulling it off before a bunch more reds, in the short term hard to say. In the longer term, I am happy with the direction of TTWO, and I didn't think it was priced in yet. I see TTWO as maybe not a top tier, but top tier-almost player in transition to top-tier maybe.

We are a long way from the post GTA IV situation, and I think a lot of the non-gta stuff is just now being uncovered by the analysts. (basically you get all the non GTA stuff for "free")

I couldn't tell you where it will stop but for now, contgrats on the 3.46 per share!

    • I sold 15% of holding @ 19.56 a few days ago

      Sentiment: Hold

So you made 21% and you're upset that you missed out on a whopping additional 2%? ;)

I sold at 19.08 and bought SPWR... but then SPWR is up 12.5% since whereas TTWO is only up 7%. It's all about making the best of the state of the market... But I am still kicking myself for choosing SPWR over SCTY (now up 14.3% if I had bought it instead) :(

      *knock on wood*

Hopefully we'll see a little bit of a pull back in TTWO to get another buying opp.

    • Nothing wrong with taking a profit. I will keep holding as I believe in the future both near term and ling term. I sure would love to know what's behind this BEAUTIFUL move today though.
