Or, the smart people recognised the overvaluation and ALREADY shorted at $10 level, and the dumb DDCs just still haven't realized that its time to sell, yet, lol. RSI is 54, and I don't see any realistic solid support until $8.75+/-.10 level.
cplp is in decline now along with the market. shorts may make some pocket change if they are nimble enough. i'm impressed with how well this stock is relatively out-performing considering it is a small cap in a falling market. the fact that people are not bailing in high volume means more than some smart persons guess that it's time to short.
Im still short two positions. Current PPS at $9.60, RSI 59 and coming down from the $10 overbought level. If you look at the MACD, it has now actually crossed, in a decline, and this is another bearish technical sign as well. I think it drops back to the $8.60s level soon. Watch and learn. The div payout is false.
i was on here a week or 2 back and we were discussing dividend payouts. i've gone back and investigated a couple of my other holdings and stocks on my watch list and have found that almost none and almost never do any of them report earnings per share as high as the dividend paid out per share.... any ideas on how a company can do this if dividends are not taking out before earnings. even in great growing 5 star companies like kinder morgan, they pay a grea 6 or 7% dividend of over 1 buck and never report earnings that high, however they balance sheet looks great, and growth is incredible.... can anybody explain to me how this works?
