That was a great report for AG yesterday. You might want to look at another silver producer that will have a great report Monday morning. United States Silver(USSIF.PK) should report record revenues of $25M and earnings of $8M Monday. They allready announced that production was significantly higher in quarter 2. The stock sells for .60. USSIF is planning a 1/5 reverse split soon to gain admission to the AMEX. After the split they will have 68M fully diluted shares. They have no debt and cash on hand of $20M. They should have $40M in cash by yearend. They have a new mine coming in 2012 that will add 20% to production. The company only has a market cap of $180M. Revenues in 2011 should be about $100M and profits about $35M. IMHO this is the most undervalued PM stock out there.
Yes....AG's report was dynamite. I will buy more on weakness. Maybe today. I'll check out the silver penny you mention. It may be a big winner, however, my experience with reverse stock splits is negative. Be cautious. Remember the reverse on CDE?
The consolidated report with all the MD&A details in now available to view on their website. Very interesting details coming from the Del Toro new mine development. Read pages 47 and 48... As they are drilling off the deposit to upgrade the resource and digging the ramps, they are finding much more ore. This new mine may end up being a larger producer than they thought as the 1000TPD flotation mill will come on line next year and now a 1000TPD cyanidation plant will be added in early 2013. They are prepping an updated 43-101, so we'll probably have some nice news this fall!
Firecracker good luck with this ussif. I made a few bucks on it, but I sold at 69 cents a while back. It does not have enough reserves and the float is much to large! You were correct about AUY a while back and it is becoming a cash cow. Good luck
reserves may be low...that's my first thought as to the low price of the shares but they are supposedly adding production in 2012...Currently if we believe Firecrackers numbers the ending 2011 capitalization to revenues will only be 1.8, with a PE less than 6 at current prices. AG's numbers are 7.8 capitalization to revenues and a PE around 17.
Based on those metrixs it looks like US Silver is worth a throw in...thanks Firecracker, I think... U
