    UN Report from April 13

April 13 report from the United Nations' panel on climate change says major action is needed, and fast, if policymakers want to limit global warming to acceptable levels. Solar is going to be a key piece of that. There will be a huge shift toward energy sources like wind, solar or nuclear power. The market is cratering today, especially high beta stocks (CSIQ, JKS, VIPS, etc.). Don't panic, this is a normal correction. If you take a long term view, the stock price will appreciate. You can't try and pick a bottom, but if you believe in the fundamentals of the business like I do, this stock is a good investment at these levels.

      • True. I copied that from the UN report. In fact the globe has been cooling, not warming since around 2008, and the thing that is most impressive -- yes, with all the smaller up's and down's -- is the SOUTHERN and NORTHERN EXTENT of the polar outbreaks, remembering it just snowed in eastern Cairo in December 2013. The arctic waves, when they do come, are pushing further south/north the last 5 years in different places in the Northern Hemisphere. You will remember back in 2010 when China was literally closed down about this time for their New Year, when 1:200 year icestorms went to the south coast. Epic heat waves in Australia this year and polar vortex in the Norther Hemisphere. Global warming may not be real, but climate change is.
