He thought the surgery went well. I have a patch over my left eye though and won't be able to tell for a couple of days.
I doubt if this surgery thought will allow me to be "farsighted" enough and have enough "vision" to think that 19 times forward earnings for Tyco is reasonable.
Ok - now for what you've all been waiting for - the turtle update.
I note with interest the Sell recommendation.
TYC closed on Jan 26, 2004 at an adjusted price per share of $26.94. A year later, it reached $36.58. Another good call by Chartnuts!
Wonder at what lower price the lame-o instigated his Sell rating?
Fact is chartness started this whole thing back in November, I believe when he makes an unsolicited wanting it on record that TYC would close in the 19s at the end of the year.
Retired comes back and asks, if TYC does not, will chartness then post on this board that chartness was wrong.
Chartness comes back and says he will indeed post he was wrong, but, wants to add another month to the timeline, to January 27th.
Retired let it go at that. Now the date arrives and chartness 'recalls' Retired rejected that change in timeline. Neither chartness himself nor anyone else can find such a post of Retireds' making a rejection, nor do I recall reading one.
Chartness therefore, decides not to post that he was wrong, even though he was, and instead calls Retired a liar and posts - 'Go to Hell' as alternative words of three.
As I stated earlier, he takes the cake. Doesn't live up to his word, and, owes Retired an apology as chartness was wrong about this post in question and wrong to call Retired a liar. He claims to have a good name and claims to protect it in order to maintain his 'credibility'.
