Possible Factors to Explain the Hussein Re-Election as POTUS

mr c, i would buy your arguments about the GOP needing to appeal more to the minorities, but when it comes to the TRUTH this year, get real!!!!

obama is president ONLY because of the black & hispanic communities
for the most part. (and that's to their CREDIT)

and the only reason they've voted in the last two elections in such large numbers was because there was a black candidate.

don't forget: you, in effect, sat it out!!!!
perhaps your efforts would be better concentrated on getting those minorities to vote GREEN instead of black.

    • OK Pebs; youse looking for confirmation that Hussein was re-elected because his campaign folks went out and did the necessary ground work and got the Hispanics and blacks to vote for him. I can't do that; I haven't read the exit polls; I haven't seen the results on a precint level; I have done NO research or analysis on that proposition.

My guess is that both groups were in the donkey base, but I still have the hunch, and it is ONLY a hunch, that the thinking independents decided to vote BLUE yesterday and that sealed the base activation by the donkeys and helped re-elect Hussein. Rednecks and Creationists for Mittens didn't exactly excite thinking independents.

As far as my "sitting it out," no I did not sit it out, I voted. My state was always in the Mittens column and my vote was not going to make one iota of difference. We didn't go quite 3:1 Mittens like Ootah, but Mittens had a good win here. All IMHO.
