Epidemic of smart-phone thefts send New York City crime rate on a rocket ride
Mayor Mike Bloomberg is decrying the ease of which criminals can rob people with expensive smart phones.
Bloomberg blames the victims, not the criminals.
As I recall, Hussein and his community action groups have already made cellphones available to nearly everybody under their entitlement programs. But they didn't authorize or prove for EXPENSIVE SMART PHONES. Those with the entitlement mentality do not seem to be satisfied with access to a mobile telephone device with a local provider; no, they want to have the high-end toys. And since they may not be willing to work and earn money to purchase their desired smart phone and the generous community action policy does not provide that expensive equipment, they seem to justify stealing smart phones on the basis of entitlement. All IMHO.
