By the way, is this fun or what?! Anyway, I
realize from an earliet post that AOL has split three
times in 15 months. And, I have been happy about that.
However, does anyone out there know, if and when it
becomes self-defeating or hurts the stock. I have looked
at historical data for market heavyweights such as
DELL, MSFT, IBM to name a few and they have never had
more than two splits a year.
Have a great day!
It looks like we just weathered another healthy
AOL filed a registration statement. Sprint is
selling all of their 28,000,000 shares of AOL. It may be
on the market or in a private placement. Other
stockholders are selling an additional 10,000,000 shares of
AOL. Why they are selling? I don't know. Could be
profit taking or perhaps AOL is about to make a telecom
move and Sprint is getting out of the way. Just
speculation but I hope it's the latter because I don't like
the thought of 38M shares being put on the market!
It the sound of the AOL express train coming
straight at you and your puts which I know you loaded up
on at sub-120. Can you say chapter 7??????
Shorts gonna have real sore aholes tomorrow with the
huge IBM news, earnings run momentum, and the 13 day
moving average piercing aol performed today afterhours.
