Coke's revenue fell 3.6% year-over-year. This complements Dr. Pepper's 4% decline in sales volume. Thus, the trend continues, and the need for stevia grows larger.
I will note that Coke is estimating $1 billion in savings through 2016, which it will reinvest into new product launches. Might one of those new products be Coke Life? Or, other stevia beverages?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Speaking of earnings...do you have those figures for STVF?
Euphoric factless BS won't lift this stock out of the sewer. Earnings will.
Very true. The transition away from sugar is going to happen and Stevia should be a major benefactor. The groundwork that STVF has laid seems to have great potential in the future but right now they to get that first pay check.
Sometimes euphoric factless BS causes earnings which can lift stocks out of the sewers.
New product launches, but also new ingredients could spur sales volumes.
This is not a fluke quarter or year. The demand for healthy sugar replacement is only going to increase.
