NEWSPAPER ARTICLE - LAWSUIT FILED (DAYS LEFT FOR SHAREHOLDERS TO JOIN)

Tulip you don't get much, do you?

"Bertisch is seeking to represent all shareholders in his request for a court order barring the deal.
The case is Bertisch v. Zipcar Inc., CA8185, Delaware Chancery Court (Wilmington)."

Another company trying to get the business. This would be a class action suit. Since you bought early on I would think that you would want more than most to get what you consider fair value. You've made it clear you think they were doing just fine.

Lawyers put their phone numbers on TV ads to get class action clients.

    • Young Pup,

I'm all for a higher price but a class action lawsuit is almost always an ineffective tool for getting more. These toll free law firms will settle out for minimal consideration for shareholders and ask the judge for legal fees. Most every deal attracts multiple lawsuits. Clients aren't paying the class action attorneys by the hour and they generally get what they pay for. A TV ad with a phone number is one thing but a chat room posting with a phone number is another. Doesn't inspire much confidence in my book.

I wish you could teach me something here but you can't. I know my way around wilmington.
