Bought this under the reccommendation from Louis Navellier. ACL was one of his 2 new buys for January. He reccommended ACL strickly on the fundamentals, not any buyout. All of a sudden the NVS things happens, paying $180 to Nestles and 2.8 shares per to us. And my new reccommemded stock has dropped over $9 in three days. I am pissed at NVS, but that helps none. Perhaps they are lowballing to keep from having to pay the minority holders ever greater than the $180 by lowering our expectations and driving down the market price. That could be their strategy and if so, looks like it has worked. Not sure what to do now. I would think they will additionally raise the offer to at least $168 to cover all minority stockholders losses, or maybe even the $180 they are giving Nestles. But what do I know?
You should look at why you bot the stock in the first place. I hope it wasn't entirely because NVL said to buy it...if that is the case you deserve what you got. IF you ALSO did your DD then you must liked the stock. Is that reason still there? At any rate now you should give it time. Shut the computer off and get away from it
