what about Birk opening his mouth with another ill timed comment like "our business is still very soft". Wouldnt that kill the stock in one day? Or do they have the muzzle on him? He could never seem to get out of his own way.
I was only letting the poster know that the area had changed dramatically.
Speaking of Billy Bart, I have often stated his departure was possibly a foreshadowing of the downfall of TLAB as a major corporation (in terms of growth, status, price, etc.).
Actually, Bart never sat in that area. Craig Speak & his staff did. After Sales moved out to the Lisle Executive Center (Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza), Harvey Scull & his staff were in there.
Actually, at this point, the whole Lisle campus is gone, as well as BB. I drove by the Lisle campus a few days ago, and it is deserted. BTW cykdelic, are you saying that you worked in the area where the new conference room was added? IIRC, that area was a group of Sales and Marketing folks - Billy Bart and co. were in there at one point.
Yeah, you're right. Best of luck to you, too! Hope life is treating you well.
By the way, you "know" your old B building layout! You mention the 5 or so offices on the left when you enter --- that is all gone (for a few years now) and replaced by a big, gaudy reception area and a couple of conference rooms (all empty, of course).
