and the multiple indications simply just can't be given away.
Oberg is pretty much aware of this and after spending close to 400M in developing Imagify and years of work and sleepless nights, I am certain she rather move to the other NASDAQ market, which gives Acusphere another 180 days? to be listed, rather than accept an insulting offer.
Many people here are saying 20%-25% royalties. Geee, thanks a lot. How much is the licensing deal upfront?
Half of what was spent in R&D?
There's money until september at least so I am just hanging in there and relieved the NDA was accepted, which was what I was expecting all this time. Get to first/second base? first.
If Acusphere was to be IPOed today, how much will the market cap will be with a drug that's less than a year away from probable approval for JUST ONE INDICATION?
Hang in there Sherri baby that while I've been one your harshest critics in the past and with reason, lately you've been hot.
PS* Oberg knows she can make Wall Street history with Acusphere. I know I am probably seeing history in the making for the last couple of years.
Good thoughts on what one might expect as an original investor in ACUS. An ROI on 400 m "well spent".
GE would make a good partner for ACUS as they could bundle device/agent/financing/ and to some extent the whole diagnostics thing as a service. Also, they would indicate that medtech industry is for, not against, ultrasound. Worst thing for ACUS would be nuclear imaging industry resistance which forces an approvable letter...
I don't see a pharma sales org as being as strong...
GE would be a bad choice to buy the company, as anyone who as worked there knows: they screw up acquisitions! So that is not on the cards. So it is upfront cash
Problem is though, Acus will not get a good deal unless there is a real bidding war for the rights. That will only happen when enough hurdles are out of the way, before approval... I don't see Siemens or Philips really wanting to get into the "pharma" business, or having the competences.
"Hang in there Sherri baby that while I've been one your harshest critics in the past and with reason, lately you've been hot. Cazador"
I am sure Sherri will finally get a good night's sleep tonight now that she has read your message. And I am sure her family will add you to their Christmas card list. Cazador, you have made one family in America very, very happy and relieved!
