    • How long before Sandisk burns all its cash and goes belly up? Specially in the worst case scenario of Samsung not paying the royalties and dragging Sandisk in a long legal battle.

    • F, GM have so much massive overhead, well it just makes sense to bankrupt them.

And turn over their pension plans to either the government agency or a mutual fund.

Probably be under the government and those employees will probably get about 1/2 of their networth in the currrently existing plan. Why would gov't give them face value, when the employees should have known better to invest in their very own company in the first place, consider the CEO and Insiders were dumping shares...It's like that chick that worked for PALM who works for SNDK.

She's going to jinx the company. She, if you go back and reread that message board how she dumping her shares - wonder when the last time she bought any SNDK shares.

Insiders are so fast to sell, but buy and hold.
      That's unheard of...

    • F, GM deserve the same fate, but why is the government going to bail them out...

Imagine if they got a loan from the government and then blew thru that, only to find themselves near bankruptcy again.

What would the Federal Government do ? Put them up for sale ?

Who wants to buy a car company, which insiders sold out their very own company - taking excessive pay and stock options, etc.

Not investing back into the company with R&D and tooling. But, rather going out and buying up other failing companies. Where were being sold off for the very same reasons.

It's like a lot of properties where I live at... Old gas stations and hotels, which even the India's are essentially walking from. Who wants to buy a deal.

    • No Best Buy is SNDK #1 seller.

    • I mean our whole system is grossly over expanded with retailers, who are living on thin margins.

Bankruptcy is a good thing !!!

Don't suppose the government will come and bail them out do you ?

    • Better go back and look at their expansion plan, planning.

They were throwing open stores in questionable areas. Much like Starbucks, which will no doubt in time meet the similar fate.
