then the market will tank. And, I believe Chrysler has no other option but to seek protections afforded it under the Bankruptcy Code. It's the only way for it to completely restructure itself. It's amazing that Fiat will take a substantial interest in Chrysler without putting in any cash. I guess some things still haven't changed. Oh, wait, they have, this time you get something without even having to put it on your credit card. My recollection of Fiat is the one that I owned in the 70s. It wasn't much better than a tonka toy. The more I think about it, a tonka toy was sturdier than my Fiat. I sure hope the deal will be stronger than the cars that will be manufactured.
It looks like you are going to get another shot to short at $16. Very little overhead resistance, however. If the market follows through in the afternoon, there is a strong likelihood this will make a recovery high.
