For the record this is not my calculation method. I am using the sticker price calculation method advocated in the bestselling book "Rule 1 Investing".
If that gives you any confort in mindlessingly taking peoples advice.
I think taking the advise of someone who uses the numbers to come up with a value of the stock and provides that number and methodology to you is not exactly mindless. You have to ensure his numbers he inputs are meaningful. You have to look at the calculation he performs to see if it makes sense.
What method do you suggest for determining if a stock is a buy/sell? You can say research, but could you give an example of you what your research and how you use those number? What books do your recommend?
