Be careful what you wish for. If AMD goes under, it's assets will be bought up by a foreign firm and they will drive the prices of CPUs even lower, so Intel will suffer even more than now from the competition.
Also, assuming your question is legitimate, it would appear you don't know very much (if anything) about what you're "investing" in.
I believe they have enough to make it at least a few more Q's if what I have read is correct. The biggest thing I think is that the coimpetition drives goodness to the consumer so both need to exist. Note I own both stocks. Not sure if there is a limiter or not to buy up since there is a X86 licence agreement that exists between intel and amd.
