NVDA might challenge current display standard from 1080p and enhance resolutions as well. Discrete graphics is much better so far, and has its own advantage mainly because it is a separate unit. Only sky is its limit.
The question is how many people need better than 1080P (and would be willing to pay for it)? No doubt they can build it, but I suspect that 99% of non-gaming/ non-professional users will be happy with Sandy Bridge.
