dividend of $3.00 per share should be paid to shareholders,the same way MSFT did. This stock has gone nowhere for ten years, they need to return some additional cash to their shareholders.
I know the MSFT distribution caused all the open option strike prices reduced by $3. Would a $3 "dividend" be taxed as a dividend or would it be a "return of capital" and affect cost basis? What would be the tax implications of a distribution?
