The most popular tablet is the iPad. The next one seems to be the Galaxy tab from Samsung.
If tablets in general are so popular, then why did Samsung just announce that they are slashing the price on their tablets by 50%?
And if PC demand or tablet demand or even Atom demand weak, then why did Intel today release their processor price list showing that all their chips, (over 200 different models including Atom), are maintaining their prices which have not been dropped for more than 2 quarters now. Some have retained their prices for over a year now. So this claim that tablets are eating into PC and tablet sales, just cannot be true.

To clear inventory before the release of the new models?
I own the second-gen Tablet released 2002, cost me more than $3,000.
Use it just like regular laptop most of the time.
So I really do not understand why iPad so popular,I see iPhone was great, iPad, just not smart to figure it out.
Customer survey shows Windows is the top 1 most wanted tablet feature?
==>one of the best posts I have seen on messageboards for some time.
Yeah sure, Richard Licker. Nothing like applauding your own stupidity. Does anyone think the price list tells you what is actually being paid? Idiot.
Misinformation. Paul O & his team has done a terrible job communicating that tablets are "additive" & will also drive server sales. Thats all you hear from short analysts - tablets will cannibalize Intel. Over & over & over until the markets believe them, not Intel.
