    It funny how some people speak on intel.

    Like oh computers are not going to exist because the ipad will take over.

    Hmmm maybe some people dont want a stupid ipad.

    • Tablets are fantastic products. That said, they will only drive sales of PC's - not retard them. The computer illiterate will buy iPads that might have never bought PCs. Power users, like me, will never rely on an tablet exclusively. You cannot type a letter or populate a spreadsheet on a tablet. Mainstream users will require a real PC. The only users that can actually use a tablet exclusively are knowledge workers like doctors or salespeople, and even they won't use them exclusively.

      Tablets will become tools and toys and will drive greater sales of PCs.

    • Tablets are just toys. They can not do much without backend infrastructure, servers, cloud computing. Corprates still need servers for their database, storage, and video process. Students still need laptop to take class notes. Engineers still need laptop/desktop for their work.

      I don't see anytime soon that a table will be given when a new hired is on board.
