Apple LogoWord has reached SemiAccurate that Apple (NASDAQ:APPL) is going to show Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) the door, at least as far as laptops are concerned. It won’t be really soon, but we are told it is a done deal.
wow, Dude, you're now back to bash Intel from hiding since the C2D launch ???
ARM is low-end, low-power, and will really eat your $30/each Zacate for lunch !!!
Are you still helping AMD to get ready for the next generation of BARCELONA ???
Funny how "articles" like these appear after Intel announces that they will have a mobile chip that will the blow the doors away from what an ARM chip (Apple or otherwise) can do in terms of performance & power in less than 2 years time. Apple should be afraid of Intel. I can only laugh at "Windows 8 for ARM" will look like in 2013. It will garbage if it ever comes out - probably wont be able to run Office products that 90+% of employees depend on. And, they want to compete with what Intel will have in 3 years time for laptops?? LOL
That is not new news. A lot of people had been speculating that for some time. The thing is this new 3D technology is supposed to be ground breaking. If they don't use it, someone else would and Apple will no longer have cutting edge technology if the chip delivers as advertised.
i like every stock. i trade them for money. I have nothing against intel. like i said before, at this price and now, i just happen to be on the short side.
if you notice my post couple days ago, i said i am long on the airline for now. today i was well paid for the surge. :)
Article says two to three years out ... by then Apple could buy Intel and have its Fab problem fixed!!! LOL!
Didn't Apple and Intel just join hands again a couple days ago?
Plus the promise of the 3D transistors means lower power lower voltage longer life and cheaper wafer cost? Horizon - end of 2011 was said.
Not that many companies had built new fabs to accommodate a rise in demand with capacity. Intel has and is ...
Hmmm ... they figured this new technology would work maybe ... and started the new Fabs because the demand will come on line ... all ahead of the news released yesterday ... interesting.
It's all rocket science ... figure it out like you please to.
But in light of what I see ... the article is just an inflammatory spin.
