Once again Intel holds CPU prices steady.

I hit the REMOVE PRODUCT on the desktop chip and the DESKTOP CPU disappeared from my screen but it did not get deleted from the URL link I copied.

I was comparing the two laptop CPU. Differences beyond AES is the AES chip has:
    3.5ghz TURBO vs no TURBO,
    2.7ghz vs 2.5ghz,
1 PCI express port vs 0,
    http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=53448,53423,

Same process, design, .... but the AES CPU is priced at 50% more than the non-AES part. All the server chips have AES. Security concerns will drive volume AES desktop/laptop adoption and therefore margins.

If you compare the 2 laptop chips, one has AES (plus features that seem to accompany AES) and the other CPU does not have AES. I was trying to find two CPU that only differed in the AES part but that does not exist.
